Golf Course Rules, Etiquette & Pace of Play

An undelayed round of golf should become an important tradition of this club. Whenever a match shall for any reason fall more than one clear hole behind the players ahead, it is expected to invite the following match through.  In the absence of such invitation, the following match may go through on request.

All golfers shall observe the following rules:

• Time limit for hunting for a lost ball is 5 minutes.
• Please keep both power and pull carts at least 30 feet from any green.  You may not drive or pull any cart between a green and a sand trap.  Please keep carts on carts paths whenever possible.
• Anyone under the age of 14 years is not permitted to operate a golf cart, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Please fix all ball marks on the greens and rake the sand trap after being in it.
• FOURSOMES ONLY!!! This rule is suspended after Labor Day with one exception: Foursomes or less on Thursday only until 7:00 pm. Exception: Ladies Day.  REMEMBER FOURSOMES HAVE PRECEDENCE and golf etiquette is always appreciated.
• All golf starts on Hole #1. Exception: Tournaments.
• Only two golf carts per foursome and one golf cart per twosome are permitted.
• Each golfer must have his/her own bag of clubs.
• ONLY SOFT SPIKES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE.  Soft spikes may be purchased in the clubhouse.
