The Tama-Toledo Country Club held their “Calcutta” on Sunday, August 23, 2009. Sixty-five members played in the 18-hole tournament.

Open Division winners:     Dave Savage and Gary Tomas

1st - Gary Tomas
2nd - Tom Tesar
3rd - Carl Stover
 
Senior Division winners:   
1st - Dave Savage
2nd - Ken Wackwitz
3rd - T. Pepper
 
Team #10 won the “Team Division”:
 Captain - Tom Tesar;  Don Eicher, Dan Zimmerman, T. Pepper, D. Clark.
 
Pin Prize for the Open Division:  Eric Ries
Pin Prize for the Senior Division:  Jim Roan
Longest Putt:  Ken Wackwitz
Closest to pin on #7:  Bruce Weir
 
A putting contest was held the week before the Calcutta, and five members qualified for the finals. 
 
1st place: Rick Riffle Kirk Ridout, Jim Roan, Todd Rosenberger, Bruce Hanna and Rick Riffle
2nd place: Bruce Hanna
3rd place: Todd Rosenberger
4th place: Jim Roan
5th place: Kirk Ridout. 
 
Rick Riffle got to try for the $2,500.00 putt.  Winning the shootout to try for a $100,000.00 hole-in-one were Mike Wedmore and Bruce Weir.

The Committee would like to thank all the businesses and local people who sponsored all the holes and provided prizes. 
 
After Labor Day local citizens are welcome to play the course by paying green fees.
